Licensing, Contracting and Commissions Consultant
Krista joined KBM Consulting in 2024 as a Licensing, Contracting and Commissions consultant. In her role, she is responsible for managing all aspects of the licensing and contracting process. She ensures there are no interruptions in the flow of business when new cases are added to a producer’s pipeline. She has a thorough understanding of state licensing but also preparing for potential obstacles when submitting contracting paperwork in a timely manner. She has built several relationships over the years with carriers and believes this is one of her greatest strengths.
She relocated from New Jersey to New York in 2019 where she began to embark on her career in the insurance industry. Over the years, Krista has had the opportunity to work with several companies, gaining extensive experience across all lines of insurance, from personal to commercial policies. Additionally, she has assisted with license renewals, AML and continuing education (CE). Her ability to track commissions in a variety of forms has been extremely beneficial to KBM’s clientele. She takes pride in helping others navigate complex situations, always striving to guide them through challenges and come to resolutions that truly meet their needs.
As a mother who is always on the go, Krista enjoys balancing work and family given it is a central part of her life. Caring for family is something she cherishes deeply.
In her spare time, Krista loves to unwind by gardening, experimenting with new recipes, and enjoying the outdoors. To keep her mind engaged, she is rarely without a podcast or audiobook playing in the background, often tuning into medical podcasts to learn something new and keep up with her interests.
