- Interacting directly with the client
- Coordinating and scheduling insurance exams, labs, etc.
- Ordering medical records
- Shopping the client’s medical file to a variety of carriers
- Summarizing the tentative underwriting offers
- Negotiating with the carriers for the best offer and pricing
- Preparing and submitting formal applications
- Reviewing policies for accuracy and preparing delivery requirements
- Confirming the policies are inforce
- Providing weekly updates on all cases
