Krista joined KBM Consulting in 2024 as a Case Management Consultant, Krista organizes and coordinates all aspects of new business operations. She collaborates closely with clients, producers and carriers to facilitate the smooth handling of applications and ensure timely processing. Krista plays an essential role during the underwriting process. Her ability to effectively communicate and expedite the outstanding requirements requested from the insurance carriers provides her with the opportunity to accelerate the decision-making process.
In addition, she also has extensive expertise in Licensing, Contracting, and Commissions. She is responsible for managing all aspects of the licensing and contracting process whether it is processing a state renewal or reminding a producer to complete their continuing education in a timely manner, she ensures there are no interruptions in the flow of business when new cases are added to a producer’s pipeline. She has a thorough understanding of state licensing and prepares for potential obstacles when submitting contracting paperwork in a timely manner. Considering Krista’s diverse expertise, she also manages a wide range of client service tasks related to life insurance policies. These include handling billing inquiries, managing in-force policies, communicating directly with clients, and advocating for their needs. Her proactive and detail-oriented approach ensures a smooth client experience and reinforces their long-term relationship with the firm. She has developed a solid network within the industry, working closely with a broad range of carrier representatives to build strong partnerships.
She relocated from New Jersey to New York in 2019 where she began to embark on her career in the insurance industry. Over the years, Krista has had the opportunity to work with several companies, gaining extensive experience across all lines of insurance, from personal to commercial policies. She takes pride in helping others navigate complex situations, always striving to guide them through challenges and come to resolutions that truly meet their needs.
As a mother who is always on the go, Krista enjoys balancing work and family, given it is a central part of her life. Caring for family is something she cherishes deeply. In her spare time, Krista loves to unwind by gardening, experimenting with new recipes, and enjoying the outdoors. To keep her mind engaged, she is rarely without a podcast or audiobook playing in the background, often tuning into medical podcasts to learn something new and keep up with her interests.
